GAY MOVIES . Dancing males scene Lately, homosexuals have been introduced in movies as characters or actors. The first notable form of homosexuality in a film was in 1895, when two men danced together, this was commonly labeled online and in three published books as "The Gay Brothers." At this time, men weren't seen this way as effeminate or even flamboyant, but merely acting fanciful. Film critic Parker Tyler stated that the scene "Shocked audiences with the way both males had interacted." During the late XIX century, all movies depicted homosexuality with based conventions and stereotypes. Male characters who intended to be identified as gay were flamboyant, humorous and effeminate. During the Second World War and the subsequent  Cold War, Hollywood increasingly depcited gay men and women as sadists, psychopaths, ans nefarious, anti-social villains, this were driven by their "sexual perversion", as well as the fact that homosexuality was class
